We arrived in Nashville at a beautiful KOA park. Our site has a patio, lawn and some plants, with a view towards the grand swimming pool. Everything is painted with lovely colors and even Otto's run has obstacles and both sun and shade seating. We are going to be here for four days and three nights and couldn't have picked a better spot, only two miles from the Grand Ole Opry house. We'll arrange for pick up which is inexpensive and hope for a lovely evening tomorrow.


Today we had to get a part for the awning and ordered a new spare tire for the truck. Otto waited in the RV and finally drank a bit more than yesterday. He is still not eating properly and might need some extra Liverwurst tonight. Ah, but he made friends already and seems to like it here. So do we and I am already thinking of coming back for a longer visit later on. Hope to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and some other places I will be reading about tonight and am very happy with our set up.


I am surprised about all the hills in this area, but Donnie pointed out that the Blue Ridge Mountains continue all the way through Tennessee. There, I am learning new things every day again.

Wir sind in Nashville. Unser Campingplatz hat eine kleine Veranda, Rasen und ein paar Pflanzen, mit Ausblick auf das herrliche Schwimmbad. Baenke sind alle lustig bunt und auch die Sonnenschirme und Stuehle sind farbenfroh.  Sogar Otto's eingezaeunter Hundelauf hat Spielzeuge und bunt bemalte Obstacles. Wir sind hier fuer vier Tage und drei Naechte und wir wissen schon jetzt, dass wir nochmals herkommen werden. Es ist wirklich schoen und auch Otto scheint es zu gefallen. Er macht taeglich neue Freunde.


Unser Platz ist nur zwei Meilen von der Grand Ole Opry entfernt. Morgen abend ist dort unser Konzert, fuer das wir eventuell Transport bestellen werden. Ist alles praktisch.


Heute haben wir einen neuen Reifen fuer unser Auto bestellt. Otto hat die Zeit im RV verbracht und sogar endlich mehr getrunken. Ist noch immer nicht richtig am Essen und muss wohl etwas mehr Leberwurst zugeworfen bekommen, doch auch das wird sich geben. Er ist anfangs immer etwas nervoes, doch auf Leberwurst verzichtet er nicht.


Haben vor, die Country Music Hall of Fame zu besuchen und ich schaue, was wir sonst noch kurzfristig unternehmen koennten.


Bin erstaunt ueber diesen huegeligen Staat.  Dachte immer es waere flach hier, doch Don unterrichtete mich, dass die Blue Mountain Ridge vom Norden bis durch Tennessee reichen. Ich lerne jeden Tag etwas Neues.
